TV News: Future, Horror, Pose, Pearson
Hulu has renewed its sci-fi comedy series “Future Man” for a third and final season which will run a much shorter eight episode length compared to the thirteen episodes each of the first two seasons.
Executive produced by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg “(“Preacher,” “Sausage Party”), the story follows a janitor by day/world-ranked gamer by night (Josh Hutcherson) who travels through time to prevent the extinction of humanity after mysterious visitors from the future proclaim him the key to defeating the imminent super-race invasion. American Horror Story: 1984
Ryan Murphy confirmed that the ninth season of FX’s horror anthology series “American Horror Story” will be titled “American Horror Story: 1984” and has released the first trailer below.
Actor Evan Peters has already confirmed he will not return for the new season, the first time in the show’s history he won’t appear. Olympic gold medalist Gus Kenworthy will make his screen debut in the new season to debut this Fall.
FX has announced a June 9th premiere date for the upcoming ten-episode second season of Ryan Murphy’s “Pose” series starring Mj Rodriguez and Dominique Jackson. The new season jumps forward to 1990. On the heels of the ballroom community establishing itself in pop culture and going mainstream, the House of Evangelista is forced to reevaluate their goals. USA Network has released a new promo for the “Suits” spin-off series “Pearson” which details the importance of Jessica Pearson’s role in the Mayor’s team. Gina Torres stars alongside Morgan Spector, Simon Kassianides, Bethany Joy Lenz, Chantel Riley, Isabel Arraiza and Eli Goree. The show premieres this Summer.
