Third “Train Your Dragon” Heads For $58M Debut
Universal’s trilogy capper “How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World” is coming in above expectations and headed for an estimated debut of $58 million domestically this weekend at the box-office.
The film is performing strongly with critics (91% on RT) and fans (an A CinemaScore) and if the estimates hold, this would be its biggest opening to date.

“Lego Movie 2: The Second Part” is set to come in third with about $9 million and a domestic total so far of about $84 million. The film has grossed $117 million globally in fifteen days of release.
“Fighting With My Family” expanded and will come in fourth with $7 million, while “Isn’t It Romantic” is fifth with around the same amount.
